Bizarre Race Crash Altercation Leads To Man Getting Tasered
The crash that happens in this video around the 48 second mark looks mild enough, but matters soon escalate. After waving his arms angrily at competitor Shawn Cullen, Jeffrey Swinford decided to drive over the bonnet of the former’s car.
Naturally, Cullen didn’t take too kindly to this, and responded by climbing out, hurling his helmet to the ground and pummeling Swinford through the car’s window, stopping only when a police officer intervened. With a Taser.
According to a local report, both were arrested, with Swinford charged for “misdemeanor criminal recklessness,” while Cullen was slapped with a disorderly conduct citation. The owner of Anderson Speedway, Indiana has vowed to bar Swinford from the track “as long as I own it, and I plan to own it for a long time.”

To be fair, that’s just racing. Sh*t happens, don’t think either of them should have been arrested, but I do think they need penalized and Swinford would be paying the repair bills, or fixing it to spec.
Oh yea, Swingord got banned and also got a misdemeanor. The other guy fortunately just got a citation and a slap on the wrist.

The spur of the moment window had definitely passed. That was calculated and highly dangerous. He should never be allowed to compete in motorsport ever again. Absolute liability. Can’t blame the guy for wanting to smash his face in.
