Watch A Koenisgsegg Agera RS Slice 5sec Off The Chiron's 0-400-0 Time
That didn’t take long, did it? Less than a month after Bugatti declared the Chiron to be the fastest car from 0-400-0kmh (0-248-0mph), the firm’s feat has already been bettered by Koenigsegg. By over five seconds, in fact.
The Swedish supercar company’s weapon of choice was - as anticipated - the 1341bhp, 5.0-litre V8-powered Agera RS, and it did the whole run in an astonishing 36.44 seconds, 5.52 seconds faster than the Chiron.
Braking time was actually a little slower at 9.56sec (vs 9.3 for the Chiron), with the Agera making up all the time over the Chiron on the acceleration phase.
The run at Vandel Airfield, Denmark was in reality a smidge longer than 36.44sec, with the RS hitting 403kmh before driver Niklas Lilja applied the brakes. Factoring that in, the duration was 37.28sec - still faster than the Chiron. The car covered 2535 metres in total.
We’d say something akin to ‘your move, Bugatti’, but we’re not sure much can be done to overcome that five and a half second deficit…

I just find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that Koenigsegg, a manufacturer of multi-million dollar exotic cars has “OMG” in their video’s thumbnail as if they were a certain 18 y/o vlogger with a wrapped GT-R…
They’re pretty cool people. Once saw them prop the hood open on one of the cars under production with a 2x4 and a rag on each side. It’s all about cars over there ;)

Indeed they have. I used to see videos of their tuned cars all the time but not anymore nowadays. Still, i never liked their Lotus. Taking all that USA 1st pride for a record they set with technically a Brittish car that had a tuned V8 strapped on to it.

I guess realibility, comfort, build quality, customer support are aspects you don’t consider. Perhaps maybe the only aspect for you is straight-line acceleration, but I guess you could also add the design as it’s purely subjective, based on your personal taste. But that basically sums up in what the ‘Egg is better than the Bug’
Does that shield cover the places where the engine breathes ? Didn’t think so.

Guys, stop praising Koenigsegg and comparing it to the Bugatti, just stop it. The Bugatti is an perfectly crafted machine with as much comfort as rolls-royce. Koenigsegg on the other hand is an poorly build kit car with an powerful engine, a bit more special than an Hennesy Venom GT. Wow.. Bloody hell.. So much sʜɪᴛᴇ here, first of all, please tell me how the Bugatti Chiron is a* “perfectly crafted machine with as much comfort as a rolls royce”. In so many ways is this wrong - No, the Bugatti is not a ғᴜᴄᴋɪɴɢ luxury car by any means. It weighs two tonnes because Bugatti uses inefficient and let’s be honest, a bit bad engineering. Please just get the whole “luxury” thing out of your heads. And really, poorly built? Huh. You changed your mind by reading that whole trash by some spoiled, impatient brat, (inherited money), who can’t spell nor use proper grammar? (The reason I said he’s a brat is because with that attitude he very much sounds like one). I am sorry but stop. I am not a koenigsegg fan either, really don’t give a sʜɪᴛᴇ but please, use your brain.
