The first trailer for Need for Speed Payback showed off the thrills and spills of the 23rd instalment in the NFS series, and we’ve been eager to see official gameplay footage.

Now, we’ve had our first glimpse of actual NFS Payback gameplay in an EA Play and E3 trailer, showcasing the main characters of the game – the crew, made up of Tyler, Jess and Mac – in action.

Here's Our First Look At Need For Speed Payback Gameplay

‘The Highway Heist’ is a major moment in the game’s single player campaign, as the crew takes on the all-controlling cartel called ‘The House’. It definitely has a GTA V/Fast and Furious vibe, right?

You can explore the open world of Fortune Valley, and the city of Silver Rock, when NFS Payback is released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 10 November.

And if you missed it, check out the first gameplay footage from Forza Motorsport 7, which has also just dropped.

I’ve never really been a fan of NFS games, they’ve always been to unrealistic for my tastes, and it has always pissed me off how they have different handling models for different game modes

Hey I think they are focusing more and more on those crashing effect (which is not that bad.. let’s be honest) … but … and there’s a BUT….I don’t think that those moments have something to do with reality . I mean if you slam into a BMW X6 with a mustang at 120mph both of you would end up in bushes.

Apart from this I have to admit the scenery is pretty amazing. Can’t wait to drive on the tarmac of Fortune Valley… and offroad ofc

Assuming you’ve completed, let alone touched the game. Limited car models? Stfu, they haven’t even released the car list yet!

This looks a lot like NFS Rival, which is great! It had a lot better handling than in NFS(2015) so I am still excited for this game

Indeed! The physics kinda remind me of The Run’s physics combined with Rivals’ physics
