Touring Car Rolls Six Times In Violent High-Speed Shunt
Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car driver Jason Fichter managed to walk away from this terrifying airborne flip at the Virginia International Raceway unharmed
A race car flying across uneven grass at high speed is never going to end particularly well, but fortunately Fichter was uninjured in his crash.
His Honda Accord rolled six times in what turned into a big end-over-end crash, coming to rest the right way up. He was taken to the medical centre as a precaution but was later released.

Sounds like they got the accident a bit wrong.
It looks more like he went out of a turn onto the grass, got sideways, rolled and then the rear end dug itself into the ground, making the front section shoot up.
I was at the race, quite near where it happens. That access road dips down a bit, and his car’s wheels appeared to dig into the grass. Great to see he’s OK…he was having a decent race. 😕
