Watch A Stock Engine Honda S2000 Clock A 7min 59sec 'Ring Lap

Last time we checked out a video from ‘One Lap Heroes’ - the guys behind the famous ‘Ring Banana’ MX-5 - it involved spanking a Honda S2000 around Spa Francorchamps. Now, the S2000 is back at the ‘Ring, belting out a ludicrous 7min 59.8sec lap. Not bad for a car with a stock engine.

Away from the engine bay, there have been quite a few changes, including new coilovers, a lightened flywheel, a socking great rear spoiler, and - perhaps most importantly - track-friendly Kumho V70A tyres.

Combine all that and much more besides with a handy driver, and the results are spectacular.
