Porsche Just Signed A Six Year Deal With Microsoft And It Kicks Off With A Forza Horizon 3 Car Pack

The expiration of Porsche’s exclusive deal with EA a few months ago is just about the best car-related gaming news we’ve had in recent times. Before, Stuttgart’s brightest and best sports cars were - the odd Forza expansion aside - relegated to the highly unrealistic world of Need For Speed. But they’ve since been added to Assetto Corsa and Gran Turismo Sport, and Microsoft has just announced a six year deal it’s signed with the German manufacturer.

So, in the future we can expect Porsches to appear in Forza Motorsport and Horizon titles from the off, without the need to spend money on pesky expansions (Porsches will also now appear in the Forza Racing Championship). To celebrate, Microsoft has revealed, err, an expansion. But still - it brings with it a tasty opening salvo of Porsches to Forza Horizon 3, which we’re rather keen to try out.

The pack contains:

2016 911 GT3 RS
2017 Panamera Turbo
2016 Cayman GT4
1973 911 Carrera RS
1995 911 GT2
1960 718 RS 60
1955 550A Spyder

The expansion will set you back $6.99, and if you’re feeling lazy, you have a one-time chance to put each of the cars in your garage at no in-game cost.

Which car are you drawn to the most?
