A Tuner Has Put Actual Mustang Hair In A Ford Mustang And We're Not Sure How To Feel
Vilner Beijing has created a one-off Mustang with leather made from horse hide, complete with horse hair...
Think using cow hides for leather interiors is just a little mainstream? You might appreciate this. Or maybe not.
This one-off creation from Vilner Beijing has actual Mustang horse leather covering much of the interior. Oh, and there are even large patches of Mustang hair on the sides of the seats, just so people know this isn’t ordinary cow leather. Eww.
The car - which Vilner admits is “somewhat controversial” - is otherwise a standard Mustang GT, which means 416bhp from a 5.0-litre V8.
In addition to the hand-crafted horse leather, there’s also a red fabric roof, with a hand-painted, custom design depicting two cobras. So at least there’s something to divert the gaze of passengers away from the vast swathes of horse hair…
