The Aston Martin and Red Bull hypercar has a fitting name at last: Valkyrie. Aston has just announced it at the Geneva Motor Show.

Previously known as the kinda cold AM-RB 001, the new identity means Aston can start shaping the marketing activities around the name. And what a name it is. It’s got to rank right up there with Interceptor as one of the coolest names ever to be put on a car.

Can we please stop with these “It looks like X combined with Y combined with Z” kind of comments under every post? It doesn’t look like a Pagani or a P1, it just has a shape that’s very profitable speaking of aerodynamics. You may as well say that a 250 GTO and a Shelby Daytona look the same just because they both have the same kind of shame.
