Amazon Prime Will Deliver You A Nissan If You Live In Japan

We associate Amazon Prime with two things, primarily: streaming videos of Clarkson, Hammond and May ‘cocking about’, and a service that’ll let you order pretty much anything you want and receive it the next day.

But, depending on where you live, it’s good for more than just ordering a DVD at the last minute when you realise you’ve forgotten about your mate’s birthday. From 24 February to 12 March in Japan, you’ll actually be able to get a car through it.

Specifically, the Nissan Note e-Power. As a reminder, that’s the one that uses a 1.2-litre engine as a generator for an electric motor. If that sounds like the sort of thing you want and you live in “selected areas of Yokohama and Kawasaki,” you’ll be able to whip out your smart phone, load up the Prime Now app, select a 30 minute test drive for the car, and a dude will turn up with a car potentially within an hour.

Future.
