Witness The Fury Of This 1825bhp, FWD Civic Knocking Out A 7sec Quarter

As if churning out 1825bhp from a 2.0-litre engine wasn't impressive enough, this monstrous little Honda channels all that anger through the front wheels only

Our favourite part of this SpeedFactory-built car? That’ll be the turbo, cheekily poking out the front bumper for maximum airflow. This - among many other modifications - bumps the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine up to a monstrous 1825bhp (1850hp, 1600whp), which sent the Civic to a record-breaking 7.615sec quarter-mile at 199.43mph in the above video, with a best top speed of 201mph recorded.

Not bad at all…

It’s a world record, it must be pretty impressive. Fwd isn’t exactly great for drag

“lel sh*tty hondas running in the 7s Drake got two feet only & runs through the 6”
Let’s see how faster will your muscle be when we’ll make it FWD then.
We’ll try not to laugh too hard.

Stupid comment the car is clearly not putting all the power down on the start, if he did it would be hopeless because it would just spin the tyres FWD is not used in drag racing for a reason and it’s all down to phisycs.
You step on the gas the front goes up, front goes up no tyres on the ground, no tyres no traction. And also the opposite front goes up weight goes to the back wheels you get more traction in a RWD.

i imagine it would suck (10/10 would break down) if you tried to drive this at 15 mph around Monaco all day like 80% of all Bugatti so HA!
