A Simple Horn Blast Probably Saved This Woman's Life
This woman in Queensland, Australia had an incredibly close shave after a Toyota driver blew straight through a pedestrian crossing
While crossings like these in Australia and many parts of the world give right of way to the pedestrian, it’s still important to keep your wits about you. This video does a good job of demonstrating why, as not everyone is attentive enough to see you and stop.
Had it not been for the camera car warning the woman via a horn blast, she may well have been hit by the blue Toyota.

2) Pedestrian checks the sky for UFOs while crossing the street

A professional truck driver once told me he never lets pedestrians cross the road in these situations. He said he don’t want to see that kind of an accident. But honestly its always like this on dual lane crossings without the lights. One driver stops and the other one does an emergeny braking and hopes he didn’t catch anyone off guard behind him.
This sh*t happened to me once. (Guy in the corolla) Since then ive been pretty careful when approaching crossings.
I hate those tw@s that overtake you when you stop to let someone across the street.

People run through all the crosswalks where I live at like twice the speed limit. I almost died twice because they sped up when I tried to cross. they thought they could beat me before I got to the other end. People have no respect any more besides the fact it’s state law to stop for pedestrians at crosswalks. I always stop.
