This Might Be The First Ever New Honda NSX Crash

In what we think might be the first ever serious crash involving the new NSX, a pre-production version of the supercar has been spotted in a heavily damaged state on a Taiwan highway

As with any new supercar, it was only a matter of time before someone binned the new Honda NSX. And sure enough, binned one someone has, as you’ll see from the stricken NSX seen here on Wang Kung Temple Provincial Highway in Taiwan.

The car is marked as number ‘0000’, making it a pre-production example. It looks as though it’s salvageable, but with damage to the front bumper, wing and wheels, all airbags deployed and no doubt damage we can’t see in the footage above, it isn’t going to be a cheap fix.

According to Downshift - who posted the video at the top of the page - the Taiwainese journalist driving at the time told Taiwan News they had been stung by a bee. Sure sounds a lot like the ‘jaywalking dog’ which apparently caused two Ferrari 488s to crash into each other recently…

0-series, journalists…
Aren’t the “press-victims” only there to be used (up) and abused without harming the ones people buy?
So I don’t think anyone will have to pay for the crash, really.
