Marc Marquez Came Incredibly Close To Wiping Out His Team-Mate
During third practice for the Austrian GP, Marc Marquez lost control of his bike, narrowly avoided collecting his Honda MotoGP team-mate Dani Pedrosa and crashed hard – he dislocated his shoulder and has been taken to hospital for checks
The incident took place in the early stages of FP3 at the Red Bull Ring. It certainly couldn’t have got much closer between the two Honda bikes!
Marquez dislocated his shoulder but it popped back into place. He returned to the pits but was then taken to hospital for checks.
Update
The two-time MotoGP champion was checked over and given the all-clear to return to the track and qualify for the Austrian GP. Good stuff!
