This Brilliant Senna Animation Aims To Inspire Brazilian Athletes
Working with JWT and Le Cube, Instituto Ayrton Senna has created this brilliant animation, with the intention of inspiring Brazilian athletes as they compete on home soil
The commentary in the background of the video is Senna describing how he took victory at the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix, recognised as one of the greatest achievements of his career. It was his first win on home soil - hence why it’s being used to inspire Brazilian athletes as they compete in the Rio Olympics - and one he achieved despite having serious gearbox issues nearing the end of the race.

Senna is an inspiration for everyone who watched any race he participated! If you guys (around the wolrd, I mean) like him, you don’t have ideia how he was loved here. He literaly make F1 become the second sport (nothing beats football here haha) with most viewers here in Brazil! In the lasts races, when the races get more decisive, almost everybody with a television wake up on sunday mornings to see the race. Old people, kids, men and women, just everybody. And Brazil was in a very hard economical crysis, have absolutly no international participation. All this makes Senna be a real Legend here. Was a piece of hapiness in a crysis, and someone who show the world (and the brazillians) that we can be something!
The animation is amazing! This reminds me of “Lap of Life” by Antti Kalhola, is not an animation but is as inspiring as the animation

Reminded me of initial d for a moment. This is so cool, would be neat if they came up with a fanfic animation series or a short animated movie or something about Senna.
