Someone Smashed Into A Parked Police Car Because They Were Playing Pokemon Go

Baltimore police have released footage of one of its cars being crashed into by an idiotic guy who was distracted behind the wheel while playing Pokemon Go – don’t Pokemon and drive, people!

According to the video description, the incident – captured by a body-worn police camera – happened at 3:30am in the city of Baltimore, Maryland. The officers had just finished a call and police confirmed the driver fully owned up to playing the hugely popular app.

There were other people in the car too, which makes the crash even more ridiculous. No one seems to have been injured but the driver certainly got quite a wake-up call. It’s another example of why you shouldn’t Pokemon Go and drive, after a driver in Auburn, New York, crashed into a tree last week while playing the game on his phone.

It’s sad that we live in a world where we have to actually tell people to not look at a 3” screen while driving. It’s not speeding or drunk driving that’s most dangerous cause of crashes, it’s inattention

Should be Pokemon Go included in Ford Mustang? That should be very interesting combo.

Just as he hits the cop car, these words were spoken:
“Po-Oh-Come-ON”!

Wheel Nuts

People should be permanently banned from driving for using a mobile phone. Using a phone while driving is not an error or a lack of skill, it is a wrong attitude and it is deliberate carelessness.

News like this isn’t even surprising anymore. If anything, it’s expected.
