Was The Second Episode Of Top Gear An Improvement Over The First?
From the shouting to the long and seemingly pointless Reliant challenge, it was clear you guys found a lot to dislike about Top Gear post-revamp when watching the first episode. But you know what? I actually enjoyed the second episode.
Sure, it’s clear Evans has work to do when it comes to telling an audience about a car in an insightful way (he is new to this, so should be cut a little slack) and can still come across as irritating, but the McLaren feature was good to watch, and the SUV challenge genuinely enjoyable.
Comments in the CT live discussion seemed much more positive too, so we thought we’d put it to a vote to see exactly what you guys thought:

I did like this one better then the first one specially cause it didn’t sound as much like they were just reading the script like the first episode, Overall it was a nice experience but yeah they definitely need to improve.
I think they should switch back to 3 presenters, this many presenters just turn into a clusterf*ck
it was better because they said that mister harris will be on the show next week!!
Much better, less shouty. But, bringing Harris/Reid in to talk over the power laps would be an improvement over Evans.
Yep, I actually enjoyed that episode surprisingly and I would happily give it a 6 out of 10

Making a new top gear was a waste in my opinion. They are fighting to be better than the old top gear, which is a battle that can’t be won.
It was certainly better than the first episode. The 675LT review was pretty cool
