After suffering wheel failure during a track day, this Honda S2000 driver reacted enthusiastically to seeing the remains of the rim rolling off in the distance at speed

In the comments section of this YouTube video, the driver mentioned that the manufacturer of the offending wheels - Forgestar - has since been in touch to offer a full refund and buy him a replacement balljoint. The company has also said it’ll analyse the surviving wheels.

The moral of this story? If you’re doing regular track days, it’s worth keeping a close eye on your rims…

That’s why I’d rather go for stock wheels instead of using one of those cheap aftermarket rubbishness.
