Paul Walker's Daughter Received $10m Settlement From Rodas Estate

Amid all the lawsuits that have been flying around following the tragic death of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker in 2013, it’s been hard to keep track. Porsche has been sued by three different people over the Carrera GT crash which claimed the star’s life, and it’s now emerged that Walker’s daughter Meadow reached a $10.1 million settlement with the estate of Roger Rodas - the driver of the car - back in 2014.

It went unnoticed at the time due to it being filed under the name ‘Meadow W’, but according to celebrity news site TMZ the settlement was made under the understanding Rodas was ‘partly’ to blame for the accident. It’s not the only lawsuit launched by Meadow either. The 17-year-old is one of three people to have brought legal action to the door of Porsche, the other two being the widow of Roger Rodas - Kristine - and Paul Walker’s father.

Last week Porsche was ruled to be not responsible for the accident by the judge presiding over Kristine Rodas’ lawsuit, which alleged that the Carrera GT suffered suspension failure. Paul Walker’s father - the executor of the late star’s estate - also sued the Rodas family in 2014 amid claims that they were in possession of a number of vehicles belonging to Paul.
