It hasn't had its proper reveal just yet, but someone has snagged an image of the facelifted GT-R at the New York Auto Show

We may still be a little preoccupied with pondering what the R36 GT-R might be like, but the R35 will be with us for a while yet, and it’s just had an update. As we can see from this photo - which has been doing the rounds online ahead of the car’s proper debut in New York - changes to the 2017 GT-R are subtle but reasonably effective.

We have new air intakes either side of the front bumper, what looks like a new splitter, and a revised central intake section. The car will have its full reveal later today, but for now, what do you think of the revised R35?

following in the footsteps of the land rover defender! Do you think they’ll use the same design in 50 years?

It’s still an R35 imo, just a facelifted version.

Just like the 370Z. It’s a facelifted version of the 350Z, just newer.

But it still looks good, so can’t wait too read and see more of it!

It would be cool if they tweaked the design a bit more often as they did in the 90’s
