Things Turn 10 should Change and Keep For Forza Horizon 3
As being a huge fan of Forza Horizon 2, I wanted to share some thoughts on what they should change and keep for the next Horizon. Forza Horizon 2 was a great game but it wasn’t perfect and come on, every game can’t be perfect.

Keep: Graphics and Details
The graphics and details of Forza Horizon 2 were amazing, every inch of the game amazed me with how beautifully it was made and you could see all the hard work they put in the game. The map was quite small compared to something like The Crew but the variety was great and I wouldn’t really mind if it is that small with all the variety of Forza Horizon 2 but there is one thing I would like to be added which I will mention in a second.
Keep: Car List
The car list for Forza Horizon 2 was amazing, there were so many unique cars that you were always amazed what you would find in the shop next time you went on a spree. I totally loved it, I would love the variety to be kept like that, I wouldn’t necessarily say all the cars should be the same but the variety should be unique and unexpected like that.
Change: Offroading
Forza Horizon 2 had quite a good and open map and we all loved it but there were places where you could possibly have gone and done proper offroading but they cut off those places with barriers and some people even managed to glitch and go to those places and to be honest, it was amazing how much more they could have added to the experience. I would really love to see proper offroading area where the dominant vehicle would be a pickup/SUV.
Change: Story
We all have to admit, there was barely anything to the story of Forza Horizon 2, you were expected to create your own sort of story and it got boring really fast. After winning my first Horizon Finale, I barely touched single player and when I did it was because Xbox Live wasn’t working. I would really love a story to be part of this game.
Change: Custom Races
Yeah, we were able to play with friends online and we had a choice of doing races but the only customization we could do was change the time of the day and which category of cars should be able to race. The Crew also recently gave us this mode and GTA has an amazing version of it, you should be able to create custom races and custom races are just more fun. Normal races get really stale really fast, I play a lot of online races and I get bored. It would be a breath of fresh air.
Change: Free DLC's
Okay, this is a long shot but considering how much the franchise has made from these games it would be great to get free DLC’s like Need For Speed did. We all spend $60 on the game and not all of us are able to buy the DLC’s afterwards and they always contain that one car that you so desire to own but you just can’t. It would be great if they could just give us free DLC’s.
Change: Customization
The customizations for Forza games have been very stale for a long time and it would be great to see proper parts and bodykits for the game and the rims have barely changed since Forza 4, it would be a breath of fresh air to bring in some more companies and get more rim choices like Vossens etc. Having Forza Aero and a circle sticking out of your car isn’t anything fun. We should get bodykits that would allow us to make our cars unique compared to others. I really loved Forza Horizon 2 but there was a lot missing and I would really love a few of these changes made to the game, specially the customizations.

one thing i feel has always been missing in these game is pretty much fender flares/wide body kits
Compared to Forza 6 I feel the car selection is paltry. You are spot on concerning the lack of change to upgrades though, something that is a big appeal of the franchise. The two main DLC options let it down somewhat too, especially when Forza 6 has so many! Oh and a working horn!!
Position earned wins. So you don’t feel stupid losing a championship in a F50 with 7 second faster lap times to a guy in a fast and furious Toyota supra who drifted the whole thing.
The one thing I keep waiting to see happen in games like this again, was the customizeable body kits from that had been done in NFS Carbon. There was a lot of room to improve on the idea, and if Turn 10 put in as much effort to make a customizeable body kit system as they did for the custom paint designs, I think it would be incredible. Especially if they added in a feature where someone could design a body kit, then sell it on the marketplace.
Change modifications back to horizon 1 days where it told you what the engine swaps came out of and were manufacturer specific not this 1.6 turbo rally generic balls.
And add more average cars like 1.1 Micra’s and standard golfs and focus’s I don’t know about everyone else but I love making mad cars on there over driving super cars its nice to have the super and hyper cars but do we really need 25 differnt Ferraris add some more basic boring cars with fun mods! They are great for cheap car challenges with my mates!
I have said this everywhere I go
ADJUSTABLE RIM OFFSET/WIDTH AND TYRE SIZE. This goes along with the fact that we need new rims in the game but along with the old ones WE NEED THIS AND BETTER CUSTOMIZATION.

The current car list also pretty great and pretty mixed and it’s the variety they should keep, not the entire car list.
Yeah they should have proper customizations such as hks parts and buddly club ect… Because the parts they have are : Street sport and race packages and its boring.
I think they need to add rocket bunny kits and even small arch extensions too, also decals on Windows would be awesome!
