A Lexus LFA Successor Isn't Going To Happen Any Time Soon
Judging by comments from the boss of Lexus Europe, a successor for the bonkers V10 LFA is well off the agenda
The super expensive, highly advanced LFA remains the most exciting thing Lexus has ever built. And it’s likely to remain so for some time, if comments made by Lexus Europe chief Alain Uyttenhoven are anything to go by.
At a recent event, Uyttenhoven said: “It is possible that we will one day create another supercar, but in my view a super-high-end machine is not what we need right now…what’s clear is that we can create similar emotion in more attainable cars, and that is our focus now.”
So, no bonkers carbonfibre supercars with V10s in the near future, but this does all sound like Lexus is committed to its still rather potent offerings, like the GS F, RC F and the incoming LC 500. So, there’s a V8-shaped silver lining to this cloud.

I thought they killed the supra project along with scion. I think Clarkson said it best maybe Lexus can’t make another LFA
Lexus took a huge financial hit from making that glorious car. At the same time, it showed what they could do, which should’ve lessened the blow when it comes to costs. But still, the accountant’s heads at Toyota are probably still spinning. Im in the middle of interviews now with Toyota Corporate for their Lexus division in Georgia, USA. Wish me luck!
Like Clarkson once said, The LFA was so good, Lexus probably won’t be able to match it..
I wonder when the succesor comes if it could top the V10’s vicious sound.
The only way the successor to the LFA is as good as the LFA is if they just start building the LFA again.

For a V10 with that eargasmic sound, and that design, i would buy it.
I love the LFA but I really hate all other lexuses. They all look like this!
