Loeb suffered a hefty crash on stage 8 of the fearsome Dakar rally, but still managed to get to the finish - albeit with a few parts of his Peugeot Dakar machine missing...
Unfortunately due to this crash and another incident for Loeb on stage 9, his shot at a Dakar victory is realistically over.
