Take a walk inside the Porsche Museum #MuseumWalk

Hello fellow CTzens,

This is part one of what is supposed to be a succession of posts which I will be doing every Sunday until I’m out of material.
I know not everybody is lucky enough to take a long trip to Deutschland in which they get to visit lots of automobile museums, so this is what I want to achieve with this, I want you to feel whatever is like taking a walk with a buddy on a Sunday to see great cars, the thing we all are passionate about.

Porsche is known for their tendency to be pretty conservative with their cars, just look at their first 911 made in 1963 and at the modern 911, yea it got fatter, but mostly it keeps the same design lines. They had some approaches to differentiate with cars like the 924, Panamera, 914, Cayenne and others which are really good cars, but nothing cuts the cake like the 911.

Everywhere you turn your head is just another award winning machine, the place is just bonkers even if it’s relatively small compared to other automobile museums, but literally, you look up there’s a Cayman that can pull lots of fun in the corner, you look left, there’s a Le Mans veteran, to your right, oh look a Porsche Drive 911 Carrera Cabriolet you can actually get inside of! Which way should you go first?!

Of course, what would it be if they didn’t display all these trophies won over the years in their prolific motorsport career? They did it in a very interesting way too, every trophy sort of floats in the air. I couldn’t help myself in this photo, I was amazed sort of the whole time! 😂

And then, when it’s finally that time you’ve seen everything there is to see inside, you have to walk down this stairs. It’s like in that song “Stairway to Heaven” of Led Zeppelin, only it is in reverse, you have to get down, you don’t get to stay in this heaven forever.
