Were Nurburgring Marshals Right To Ban This S2000 Driver For Dangerous Driving?

The offending manoeuvre came when this Honda S2000 - the same one we saw bossing the ‘Ring a few months ago - overtook an orange and green BMW E30 3-series on the right. There’s no denying that this contravened Nurburgring rules, which only allow overtaking on the left. However, the additional charge of “aggressive driving” is more open to debate, as is the severity of the driver’s penalty - a one day ban from driving on the Nordschleife.
