1992 Mitsubishi Colt GLXi
More commonly known as the Mirage, Cyborg or Satria, this little hatchback here weighs 1030 kg, powered by a 16 valve SOHC 4G92 with 111 horses sent to the front wheels. Honestly, this car wasn’t my first choice. I wanted a sporty 5 door hatchback so the Suzuki Swift Sports was at the top of my hunting list. However, due to the hefty cost of insurance and octane 98 petrol, I had to look for something else and that’s where this Mirage came into the picture.
Because of the joint venture between Mitsubishi & Proton, there were plenty of re-badged Mirage called Satria up north of Singapore. This was one of the reasons why I bought this car as spares can be easily found which could be an issue for cars more than 20 years of age.

4G63 swap?
I wish… Unfortunately, engine swap is illegal here and if caught, the car will be scrapped.

That’s actually so amazing clean, dream first car!
The idea is to go stealth. Under the radar of local enforcement. :D
