2003 Rover 75: Regular Car Reviews

The Rover 75 is a car whose styling has aged remarkably well in my opinion. I could see this being a rather desirable classic in 20 years or so.

Really? A classic? Does a classic car have to be a good car? I personally find it quite unremarkable.

Definitely not a 3-series underneath, for the record ;)

Has E36 rear suspension and there is alot of 3 series electrics in it and the diesel engine is an m47 BMW unit so it does partially share some 3 series platform

FYI for the UK, the reg plate says 54, that means its registered between September 04- March 05. Cars in this age bracket started at 51 plate up to 59, now we have 10, 60, 11, 61 etc…. The Format is always AA## AAA
Pre 2001. We had a prefix system with with Y being 2001, X being 2000, V being 1999 etc etc the Format being A### AAA, then pre 1980 it was a letter at the end, so we had AAA ###A

All non personal plates apart from pre 1970 contain either a letter or pair of numbers indicating the year it was registered

My dad has the 75 v6 connoisseur and it’s really good. I’ve been in similar aged c class and a 3/5 series and I actually prefer the Rover.
