Daily driving an Integra Type R?

I am a 17 year old living in southeast Michigan. My high school is 2 miles away from my house and any job I get would be under ten miles away. I have a liscense, but no car, and have been in love with Integras, especially the R ever since I was a little boy. How many of you daily your integras? I don’t think I can convince my parents to let me buy this car if I have to get a second one as a daily, but I know Type Rs are rare and I found a few for cheaper than normal, but they are still pricy.

Intergras are absolutely awesome, but I would not daily drive it. Seems a bit too dangerous … ayou know, rain, snow, ice …

That’s why I want to get one now. Convince my parents that it is an “investment”

If it’s a first car I would suggest a dc4 or dc5. An ITR, idk if it’s something you want to learn with and beat up. A first car WILL get beat up and you’ll want to do stupid things. That’s just how it goes. I would suggest buying a dc4, an RS if you want to make it like a typeR, and just enjoy it rather then spending 10k+ on something you’ll baby or will become a pure racing machine. Trust me, a dc4 with an extra 7k will be a lot of fun!

Integras are pretty reliably and if you can find a reasonably priced R Go for ir theyre cheap to maintain and pretty fun cars!
