Paul Newman put a Grand National V6 in a 740 and supercharged V8 in a 960. Here’s the 960 if you’re talking about clean. David Letterman has it now.

“You never wouldn’t expect almost 500hp from old Volvo” Pfff.. Sooooo many 2JZ swaps are made, And Volvos own engines has pretty good potential on their own aswell. Can’t forget all those Ferrari/Lambo killers out there ;)
Almost every 20 year old Volvo driver in Finland has 400hp or a 2jz swap:D
In my area, somebody has a twin turbo foxbody Mustang V8 Volvo wagon that’s stripped out. That thing is awesome

I don’t understand how the engine has that weird angle to it? It seems to pitch up a lot at the front.

Something to do with suspension setup at the front, I believe.
Its probably like this so they dont need to make a gigantic tunnel
Crossmembers and stuff. They weren’t set up from factory to hold that large of an engine so it just fits weird.
