The Dodge Hellcats Are Now More Expensive

We reported recently that Dodge was finally tackling the massive demand for its Charger and Challenger Hellcats, by doubling production and cancelling unscheduled 2015 model year orders. It wasn’t such a bad deal for people affected by the later change, as in return the buyers will be able to buy a 2016 MY example, which will have a plusher interior and an upgraded nav system, at the original Hellcat price.

However, Dodge isn’t giving away any free lunches for new customers: due to the addition of the extra bits the Challenger SRT Hellcat is now $62,495, a $2500 increase, while the Charger is now $65,945, a $1950 jump. Still a bit of a bargain, to be fair.
