What is the difference between Fiat Grande Punto and Fiat Punto?

I think in 2011 they sold the Punto with both names, the Grand Punto just had more extras
Mk1 and mk2 were called Punto. The mk3 started in 2005 and was called Grande Punto, then it was restyled in 2010 and called Punto Evo and called Punto again in 2012. They are still selling new ones but the platform is a bit old now and cannot compete anymore with other brands in terms of equipment and technology…
