Sorry, Charles, but some of the things you say. It needs to be addressed

“XJ220 is underrated”. By who? The car has legendary status, it was the fastest production car in the world.

“NSX was developed with Ayrton Senna.” That was a myth. He drove it and gave his thoughts about it in pre-production. ONCE. That was the only time he had anything to do with the development of the car

“F50 is a great ferrari” - It was test driven and verdicted as “utter garbage” as a car, and “somewhat good” as a track only toy by many car reviewers. There are numerous greater Ferraris, in the 90’s aswell.

“XJ15 is another brilliant supercar nobody really took notice of.” They’ve noticed it. It was light and race derived and a v12 and all that a supercar owner wanted. But it is forgotten car because Juaaaag couldn’t be bothered to actually adapt the racecar to being a car (Which a supercar has to be). It’s the same result as with the f50, but this time it’s not because of good intentions of wanting to bring the best racing technologies to the road, it’s because Jag did not care enough. I personally do not consider it even close to being a good Jag, let alone among the best supercars of the 90’s

“Vector W8 is an underrated wedge” - I do not see how Vector W8 is underrated. It used a 3 speed automatic from basically the 60’s and riveting as it’s assembly procedure of choice. It’s not underrated, it’s rated exactly as low as it should be. The story of Vector is of one big (although very entertaining) failure, and there isn’t a single car they’ve produced (under 20 w8’s, 2 of which IIRC were W2’s updated) that would affect anything or deserve anything but curiosity.

Yes, the F40 debuted in the 80s, many of the cars you mention do, so there’s no need to apologize about it.

“The 959 is a less known supercar.” You meant to post this on a housewife forum, not a petrolhead forum, didn’t you? A Group 5 legalization for the street, modified for Group B and homologated, the story of Porsche Group B racing carreer that never came true because GrpB got disbanded… is a less known supercar. We are not housewifes. We all know full well what a 959 is and how significant it is. A few of us actually know that if not for that car (and by extent 1975 Grp5 Porsche 935, the community’s dearest R35 GTR would not even exist.

Also a Dauer 962 isn’t really based off a Porsche 962. What it is, it IS a Porsche 962, wearing road tires. The remnant of the era that probably won’t return when poorly (if at all) adapted for the street racecars could be sold and bought by the public.

What cars you missed IMO in no particular order are Isdera Commendatore, Ferrari Testarossa/512, F355, F360, 911 porsche (Other than a GT1, 993 aircooled GT2 is so cool it started the RWB/LW/RB fad).
Also if “being available in the 90’s makes it count” then Countach, Pantera and Yellowbird spring to mind.
