I have 400k

I think that’s enough.

I think maybe 200k is good because most of the expensive cars are in the 100k-200k range. Excluding the LFA at 500, the AMG GT is 140, Viper is 125, Corvette is 95, GTR is 120, the RUFs are on the expensive side at 260 and 300, but I don’t think any of the leaked cars will be that expensive. S208 might be at 70-80 if it’s not an import, and the others will be <60 I’d think. M1 might be expensive (if not an import), Altezza might be similar to the Chaser, and the MK3 might be 45 if it’s not gold only likt the MK4.

200k to be safe I think.

40000 should be enough to buy just 1 car that’s not too expensive… out of the confirmed upcoming cars in the next update I personally think the Altezza, Impreza Blobeye or Hawkeye should fall under that category. But yes, you should save up more, at least 100k so that you can either buy something priced higher than 40k or buy one of those cheaper ones and still have some money for race upgrades and slicks, then weight reduction and power.
Or buy one of those cars SeaFerrari mentioned, though don’t expect them to be better performance wise if the price is higher, the LFA for instance can’t be upgraded much and it’s stuck in S class while all others have better tunability. Ruf cars are great, but if you think that’s too much to pay don’t feel ashamed to buy a Viper or an AMG GTS as they feature similar performance.
For options under 100k, a Corvette could be the best deal but tbh it’s a tad overused… people just hop onto the mainstream train and keep flowing with it. Other cars can be good too. I really don’t see anyone else driving a TVR or a Lotus. I’m not talking about the Cerbera or the 3-11 because they’re pretty pricey (they perform pretty nicely though). Other Lotus cars can be a bit tricky to drive, the same can be said for TVRs but it’s all tameable if you don’t go too crazy with power and/or tune it well. I’d say the TVR Tuscan is probably the best 60k FR car you can buy. It’s the least twitchy to drive out of those other TVRs or Lotuses andis fairly well balanced with a lot of power maxed out and being the lightest one of all I mentioned above(except for the Elise and the Sagaris, but I wouldn’t recommend them because they slide too much without proper skills).
