The Chinese Supra - Geely Beauty Leopard - The History Of China's First Sports Car

This is a video about the Geely Beauty Leopard. It’s the first sports car designed and built by a Chinese domestic car manufacturer. When I say design, it’s more of a bad copy of the Toyota Supra, on the outside, at least.. However, I think that the Beauty Leopard has more than meets the eye, and in this video I’ll discuss some of its quirks and features (that was my best Doug DeMuro impersonation).

Some of the video is ridiculously low quality, but that is Chinese TV quality from 2001, and there is no getting around it..
This video contains pretty much the only selection of video clips about the Beauty Leopard on the interwebs, I couldn’t find anymore.
BTW, I love the clip of the guy (I’m going to name him Chinese Tsuchiya) trying to drift the front wheel drive Beauty Leopard.

Some Info about me:
I’m a 16 year old high school student in China, and I am obsessed with cars. One day, I came across the Beauty Leopard on Jalopnik and found out that it is basically unknown in the west (who’d of thought?), and the only useful(depends on how you define useful, I guess) information about the thing is only in Chinese. So, I decided to make this video to educate myself and others like me who like weird and unusual cars on this.. thing. Hopefully, there will be more videos like this in the future.
