Well, we have the Tesla Roadster which was actually BASED on the Elise. But it wasn’t perfect (even Musk himself said it was flawed). Let’s hope a true electric driver’s car does happen.

Guys, stop the hate. This video isn’t “Why electric cars are better than gasoline cars in every way”. Just because something has advantages doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. I could probably name 5 ways that my bicycle outperforms gasoline cars. Is a bicycle still better? Nope.

I’m sorry, but that’s the stupidest argument I EVER read aganist electric vehicles. Nothing would stop one from making a water cooled electric car (with a non-conductive fluid like you have in water cooled PCs) if that was necessary. It’s not. Even the range-topping Teslas and the R8 e-Tron are doing just fine without additionally cooling the motors. You made that overheating up out of thin air and even if it was an actual problem, it can easily be prevented the same way that’s being used on literally any modern petrol car.
Problem. Gas car can refuel an empty tank in about 3 minutes, or so. But an electric car takes hours to recharge. But gas won’t last forever, and causes a lot of Co2, while electric is 100% clean burning (except the production of the car, or if the car was charged using electricity made from fossil fuels) I guess there will never be a “100% clean car”.
Exactly. Range isn’t the problem - it’s charging time. And all cars pollute in some way (at least until ALL power is renewably-generated), so get as much use out of your cars as you can!

The other argument would be “a petrol car is lighter” but in the modern age where almost everything has ridiculous infotainment systems and other useless crap weighing it down, it doesn’t even matter.
