My little Datsun 720 diesel pickup. 5-speed manual, SD22 normally aspirated diesel engine with an earth-shattering 61 horsepower and 102 lb./ft. of torque! Proud to call this little trooper my first truck!

F*ckin’ A!
That is delightfully weird, quirky and very very square.
What a suprising choice after that Passat.
I love it.

It attracts a lot of attention, for both the right and wrong reasons 😂

Smokestacks, yota rims, american gauges, nissan and datsun badges. This poor truck is having an identity crisis!

I love these types of cars and these types of people. The car may be sh#t, with an “earth shattering 61 horsepower” but it’s still just an amazing car and the person decides to keep it and love it. My brothers first car was a 1999 Toyota Camry (it’s my parents car now, and might be my first car soon), he even named it Winnie because it’s beige, all leather, automatic, and the original owner is like 80 or 90 something. Even though he now has a 2013 Hyundai Elantra coupe 6 speed manual, he still would rather have the Camry. When he tells people that, they think he’s an idiot. But the car itself just makes us all laugh, with how true to the old-person car stereotype it is, and when you turn the steering wheel it makes a weird noise. I know I’ve been just rambling now for like 5 minutes, so I’ll just leave it here.
