Attention: The Car Throttle Community Page Is Closing
Hello all,
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to the Car Throttle community. Following on from the closure of the CT app last year, we’ve taken the tricky decision to cease access to the community part of the website and the post creator as of 3 May 2021.
After that date, we’ll begin archiving existing user-generated content and will bring in a new third-party comment system for our homepage editorial pieces, which we encourage you all to use.
It’s not all bad news, though - we have some exciting stuff in store for our most dedicated users! Exclusive content, awesome competitions and great offers on the horizon via our newsletter, which you can sign up for here.

I’ve been here since 2016, it’s sad to see this place go
The only thing i’m not too happy about is that i didn’t have a car to post in my garage. But i learned a lot from this, met a lot of great people and made me come out of my shell a bit.
Maybe i’ll even start a youtube channel at some point.
I’m thankful to all people that supported me and interacted with my posts, even if i didn’t ever stick to a proper uploading schedule.
I’m happy that the editorial pages will keep the comment section at least.

Well, cant say i didn’t see it coming… 4.5 years on this app. Haven’t posted in 10 months yet I still check this site every single day. Thanks for the experience, it was beautiful!

You were the wise one on this app, and quite frankly I still am amazed you used to race rally cars. What a dream that must have been. Thanks for the insight over the years.
This is very sad news, but I respect and understand the Car Throttle team’s decision and why they made it.
Nevertheless, I will miss this place. Goodbye, Car Throttle community. Thanks for the memories. You were the best online car community on the planet and I will miss you dearly.
Truly, this place was the greatest. It didn’t make money, but it made smiles.

End of an era. I remember when CT’s colours were black and yellow. Had some good times with good folks on here and in its heyday there was nothing like it. Made some stuff I’m still proud of today. Any more info on how the archiving will work?
Part of my childhood. Now I wanted to come back but you idiots already ran it into the ground! Don’t expect me to ever watch your stupid videos again
