2004 Ford Focus SVT
So, this is my first car. It’s a 2004 Focus SVT, bought for $4,100 off the lot. It’s in amazing condition, no rust, (Surprising coming from South Florida) and also has a few mods put on by the previous owner. He put on a full Magnaflow exhaust, a rerouted air filter, a new Pioneer headunit, new wheels, and a few other doodads all around. What’s interesting about this is that it has the Euro appearance package, and with this color and package, only 62 cars were made! I really like it, it’s been about a week. It has around 140K miles, plus it’s a manual! I don’t plan on doing many other upgrades, I’m quite happy with what’s on it now. If any of you have any suggestions or tips, let me know!

Congratulations! Looks immaculate for the age.
As far as suggestions I know there are HEAPS of mods for this thing and I reckon you should start with handling. Get some good suspension upgrades. Then maybe a tune, some exhaust headers and a good set of fresh injectors?

Rare and forgotten (like the Contour SVT). Does it like to rev? I’ve heard this thing was Ford’s answer to the Honda Civic Si of the time
It loved to rev, the valves open up after 5k and run up to an 8k redline. This actually beat the civic in terms of hp at the time by 10 more hp, which was a big deal. But man the Contour is so cool and that’s also on my wishlist of cars to own.
I so wish they brought this back, this, an st, and the rs would be amazing
this is just the RS of the early 2000s, it’s the original RS. In fact, a version very similar to this was sold in the UK with an RS badge.
