Why Volkswagen Group should drop Lamborghini
Lamborghini is great, but it's not right for VW group now
Volkswagen Group has announced an ambitious “Vision 2030” plan. This focuses mostly on their core brands: Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche. That means that their fringe brands are up in the air, and it seems Lamborghini is getting the attention first. Reports have recently circulated that VW Group is considering dropping Lamborghini.
The company should do that. Lamborghini, although the Urus SUV is a big success, is an imposition on the group presently. Lamborghini, as all companies do with the changing regulations, needs to focus on emissions. It is really a Lamborghini, though, if it does? That’s something the company has to figure out, and not something they should be concerned with right now.
The Vision 2030 project will shape VAG for the future. They need to put all their effort into that, not into some fringe brand struggling to find its place in today’s world. If another company is ready to go through that with Lamborghini, then they could be a good buyer. VAG, though, is not in the position to do that now. They should drop Lamborghini and focus on incredible cars for the future from their core brands - far better than they could do with it.

You beat me by 13 minutes. Damn that orthography.
I think that there is no reason why anyone (apart from Mclaren or Ferrari for parts sharing) should buy a dinosaur like Lamborghini. Without a big money source like the VAG Group there is probably no reason why it should survive.
It may be profitable at the moment but how do you electrify a car company whose biggest selling point is the fact that it is not?
Just lie again they’ve had experience (about emissions)
