12 Potential New Cars For Forza 7 Have Been Discovered

Whilst trawling through some sound files from the games most recent update, GTPlanet user The Admiester found the names of some cars which aren’t actually in the game…yet.

The list of 12 cars features six Forza Editions of existing cars, one returning car from FM5 (the Kia Cee’d), and five all-new models, including what appears to be another vehicle from the Fallout series.

  • 2077 Fallout Atom
  • 2016 Infiniti Q60 Forza Edition
  • 2016 Lexus RC F GT3
  • 2016 Honda Civic GRC
  • 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe Forza Edition
  • 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat
  • 2014 Chevrolet SS Forza Edition
  • 2012 Cadillac Escalade Forza Edition
  • 2011 Kia Cee’d
  • 1983 Jaguar XJR-5 #44
  • 1981 Ford Fiesta Forza Edition
  • 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Forza Edition
  • 1956 Ford F100 Forza Edition
The C'eed could be about to make a triumphant return for the first time since FM5
The C'eed could be about to make a triumphant return for the first time…

As with a lot of ‘leaked’ things found in game files, there could be a simple explanation for it, like leftover data from stuff that was previously removed, or a particularly cheeky prank from a mischievous developer.

But a couple of cars in there seem to hint that this could well be a teaser for future content. The Honda Civic GRC makes sense given Forza’s recent deal with the Red Bull Global Rallycross series, and the Lexus RC F GT3 competes in IMSA’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - another race series which recently announced a tie-in with FM7 (another potential car, the Jag XJR-5, also raced in IMSA back in the 1980s).

Turn 10 hasn’t confirmed any of this yet, but it looks like a pretty safe bet that we’ll at least be seeing some of these cars appear in the game at some point in the future. The only question is, when?
