Polyphony Digital revealed awesome footage of race cars storming around the ‘Green Hell’ at night in a recent teaser video for its up-coming racing game, but just how realistic was the trailer?

Well, YouTube user Eric Yui has created a ‘Reality Check’ video comparing GT Sport side-by-side with real-life footage of the Nurburgring track at night. And the game looks strikingly realistic.

It just goes to show how much effort has been put into the lighting, track, cars and the overall environment in the game, which arrives for PlayStation 4 on the 18 October.
