Here is my Geo Metro review. The picture should explain plenty.

I have a friend, his name is Garrett. He drove those little beater Metro for the last two years. He got it for free and put a total of $300 into it. Recently the Geo was having a lot of problems and on top of that he got an internship that required him to commute an hour daily.

Recently the Geo was having a lot of problems and on top of that he got an internship that required him to commute an hour daily. He bought a newer car to daily in. The Geo wasn’t worth fixing nor did he want to sell it to someone. It was going to scrapped, but before so we wanted to give it one last hurrah.

Look at it, in its glory.

So we took up to some trails, I drove it there for the video. The car was running on two cylinders. You could dump the clutch at redline and it would still stall. Third worked sometimes and fourth didn’t at all. Getting on to the highway was an experience, you would have to rap out 2nd gear, slam it into fifth and then sluggishly chug on.

The Geo lived its rallycar dreams. We blasted sideways around corners, we buried it with mud and as you can tell by the first picture, we did our best to send it to the moon. Nothing killed it. Only thing that did was a trusty Toyota as you can see above. Geo, you will be remember, but not be missed.
