You Don’t Have To Buy Horizon 3’s New Pack To Get Awesome Porsches

Forza Horizon 3 recently released a new DLC full of cool Porsche cars, following the big news of the German manufacturer’s EA deal expiring and a new six-year contract with Microsoft.

But, the DLC is $6.99 and features only seven cars, ranging from the 2017 Panamera Turbo to classics such as the 1955 550A Spyder. Some may be tempted to splash out extra money for the DLC but others won’t be so keen.

Now, a number of Porsches are up for grabs at no extra cost, through some new Forzathon challenges taking place over the rest of April 2017. Completing the events is rewarded with a new Porsche not included in the car pack being added to your virtual garage.

First up, the 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997) is available in the ‘Basket of Goodies’ Forzathon for the Easter weekend. But, you’ll have to hurry up on this one as it ends today (Monday 17 April), having started on Friday 14 April. For this, you need to complete five bucket list challenges. Other prizes can also be unlocked.

The 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder is an incredibly tempting prize and is part of the ‘Putting On A Show’ event, which only takes place on Tuesday 18 April. It means the ‘Holy Trinity’ of hypercars (McLaren P1, LaFerrari and 918 Spyder) will be available in Forza Horizon 3. Which is pretty cool.

You need to perform an Airborne Pass Skill to get the 918 Spyder. The Porsche 959 is the prize in the ‘Show Us What You’re Working With’ event, which takes place from Friday 21 April to Monday 24 April. You have to win a championship to get this one.

Meanwhile the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 can be snapped up with the ‘Horizon Secret Service’ challenge from Friday 28 April to Monday 1 May. Need this one in your garage? You have to complete a championship in the Aston Martin DB5.

These are some cool additions to Horizon 3, giving people the chance to add awesome Porsches to their garages without having to fork out for the DLC. Which car are you hoping to win in the Forzathon? Let us know in the comments!

Compared to a X1 and a PC that can run FH3 $6.99 seems like the money you’d give to support someones patreon

If anyone doesn’t have Forza Horizon 3, due to lack of funds - I would highly recommend CDKeys.com, I purchased the game from there, and the key worked fine! They’re around £15 cheaper than the Microsoft Store!
