Thanks to a new pair of twin-scroll turbochargers, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 in the new E63 S chucks out a monstrous 603bhp. Factor in a sophisticated all-wheel drive system, and the top-of-the-line E63 will hit 62mph from rest in just 3.4 seconds. Which we all know is very, very quick, but it helps to have a visual aid - something Autoblog.nl has provided with this 0-186mph run.

In it, the E63 S actually hits 62mph quicker than advertised - 3.24sec - then clocking 124mph in 10.03sec before smashing into the 186mph electronic buffers with 33.56 seconds on the clock. Wow.
