Lexus' striking BMW 6-series rival can be heard making lovely V8 noises at the Nordschleife
Ignore the video title - unless there’s something very wrong with my ears, that’s the sound of a V8, and not the 3.5-litre V6 of the 500h version. The V8 in question is the same 5.0-litre, naturally-aspirated engine doing service in the RC F and GS F, good for 460bhp and 389lb ft in the LC.
Expect the LC to arrive in showrooms next year, taking aim at cars like the BMW 6-series.

Lexus is the king of N/A noises right now! The LFA, GSF and this LC are proof tha turbocharged motors may be quicker and more efficient but you can’t beat a good growl, howl or roar when it comes to driving emotion :-)

those shifts sound very quick for an 8 speed automatic
So if Toyota has the LC500 platform and technology, why do they need to team up with BMW to make the new Supra?
