Look, I’m 67 years of age and I was in the market for the best handling hatch I could afford. I wanted a car that would corner like no other. Sorry the VW is not in the same league. And don’t bleat on about comfort and how uncomfortable it is to climb into Recaro shell seats. Those who bought a VW Golf R wanted performance didn’t they? Well sorry they got second best.
67 years old and you prefer the rs the golf R is a better in more ways than the rs to the R first of the rs has cup 2 tires the R has bad tires compared to the Mitch tires put cup 2 tires on the R than will see bring your rs to me I have a 16 R stage one cup 2 tires DSG is my daily driver something the rs is very hash on the streets my R cN kill the rs I. Every way drives better feels like I got my money’s worth where the rs is a one trick pony trCk my R can do if all with a simple tune stage one day tune I am smoke that rs badly 360 hp 380 lbs feet of torque / to 60 in 3.7 se ones 1/4 mile in 11.9 and with cup 2 it handles S good as as the rs but way faster and I can drive it everyday comfortable try to tune the rs for $1000 dollars good luck with that drivetrain failure sorry focus rs not for me and is OK to pick the rs but don’t say the R is second best it does more for your money and it’s a monster with a simple tune something you can’t do she the rs
Oh is that what we’re doing now? Pretending cars shouldn’t be compared when the one we like loses? Ok. Well I’m glad, because the new Camaro beats my Mustang by quite a bit in the performance category, so I’ll say it’s not fair to compare them because the new Mustang was designed to be more comfortable and therefor it’s not fair to even compare the two cars. #Logic
