Yes, There Is Such A Thing As An RC Drift Meet

Watch this strangely mesmerising video of numerous radio-controlled drift cars doing their thing
Remote video URL

It seems even radio-controlled cars can be set up for drifting, with extended steering arms to promote huge angles of attack into each corner. Each car does a surprisingly good job of sliding around each bend, some of them in perfect unison like the most-professional of drift shows!

I’m sure we all had some form of RC-car when we were younger, but this hobby seems a step above a plastic F40 from the local toy shop!

I was at an RC drift meet at IMPORTFEST TORONTO 2 weeks ago, if anyone saw it, I was the guy with an S13 silvia (red and white) that backfired and kept malfunctioning.

Electric motors have a shaft that spin the wheels. Technically, they don’t even have gears if im not mistaken.
