This entertaining video purports to show a car thief unwittingly being recorded by a dashcam moments after stealing a BMW i3
According to The Telegraph, the car was stolen in Highgate, North London. The i3 was later recovered, along with this brilliant footage!

Most likely he used a transponder/tool to copy the signals given by the standard BMW keyfob. Car thieves are using the keyless systems in BMWs/Land Rovers/Jaguars etc. to their advantage nowadays to steal them.
