Even when things get a little over the edge he just calmly reigns it in again.

So looking at the ‘ring’s leaderboard; in between Focus ST and Honda NSX. Nice!
Those are full laps whenever it’s a manufacturer test. This is just BTG which is about 25-30 seconds shorter depending on the car.
look at that BMW driver at 4:50ish, just cutting the Miata like a maniac.
My commentary-reaction to this video:
demolishes the notion that you need high hp to have a good lap time etc.
