What a load of crap, just because we can actually make cars that go round corners and are actually enjoyable. Of all land rovers made, around 80-85% are still on the road to this day.
I’m not saying British cars have the best quality, because they don’t. But that Range Rover, obviously, was broken beforehand, and isn’t an accurate representation of British premium cars. And while the defender isn’t as tough and reliable as a G class or Land cruiser, its reliability is perfectly fine; there are many examples with 300k miles on the clock with original engines and transmitions
