The rason that WRC or nowadays rally doesn’t attract that many people as Gr. B back in the days that the lack of powerslides. Nowadays 4wd systems may be faster, but it’s less spectacular because of natural moves of the car.
I like historic rally’s because of the action can be seen in it with loudly roaring engines.

The cars now are faster, they don’t need to slide because it’s faster not to 90% of the time, the crowds are what caused group b to be banned and there are plenty of big jumps today.
Everything mentioned here exists today in WRC except of the proximity, which is a good thing, stop riding the group b hype train.
Group B in Fafe, Portugal is always nice to watch.
Though I wouldn’t watch it like on these gifs, I have a long life to live and many cars to buy.

I actually think that you´re wrong and right at the same time.
Think about it, some of these Group B cars had about 650 hp, and the WRC cars nowadays have around 350 (due to reglement, officially the max hp is 300) and they are still running faster than the Group B cars.
Time has changed and so does things, with all the new technology and knowledge I still enjoy WRC and if you dont than its your own fault.
